The Luz Collection

Inspired by the abstract artwork of Mark Rothko and Mexican architect Luis Barragán. The Luz Collection features clean lines, vibrant colours and muted hues reminiscent of their signature styles. With a focus on combining block colours and earthy tones, each rug is crafted to evoke the same depth of emotion found in Rothko and Barragán's work. Exploring simplified use of form and broad washes of colour, this collection is hand-woven with 100% sheep's wool - ideal for adding balance and depth to any living space.

All of our rugs have unique variations in grain and colour profile and carry the signature of the weaver in their individual design and slight imperfections. These are the things that make Pampa rugs a truly handmade product.
